WA8C9


WA8C9 is an Advanced OWA (Optimized Wideband Antenna) yagi antenna, and is the 9th iteration of the original WA8 parent design. It is a compact 1.64λ yagi some 329mm shorter than rival G0KSC's 8LFA design, and 296mm shorter in length than Hartmut's GTV28W yagi with bent driven element. What is truly remarkable is that WA8C9 in a typical residential environment setting can outperform both of its competitors in all regards!

WA8C9 offers a shallow Q-factor gradient like that of a highly stable DL6WU yagi design, and lower VSWR over 140 - 150MHz than GTV28W!...
